The Wedding & 4th of July Party

We plan on having a very untraditional wedding ceremony and celebration, so you might want to check here to find out a little bit about what’s going to happen during the day.

If you have ever been to one of our 4th of July parties, you’re one step ahead of the game.  We’ll be following that format for the day pretty much, except for just being “bigger”.  Boyd & Eileen will be cooking North Carolina BBQ (the best pulled pork sandwhich you’ll ever eat), and everybody else should bring their regular dish (like Bill’s baked beans or Tornado’s greek potatoes!!).  Bring whatever you want, and if you’re not sure, then give us a buzz or shoot an email and we’ll figure something out.  I suppose my wedding is going to be a little “Pot Luck”ish but I don’t think I would want it any other way!

If you haven’t taken the time to RSVP, please do so now by clicking the link above or by clicking the link on the left menu anywhere from this site.  This will help us get a better overall picture of who’s coming and how many kids will be there.  There will be pleanty of entertainment throughout the day, including swimming, so don’t forget your water wings and swim suits!

There will be pleanty to drink available but if you want to BYOB (or BYOW – haha thats for you Summer!) please be my guest.  And don’t forget to bring your TENT to camp out!  I would hate for someone to not be able to drink and have a good time (if that’s what they chose) because they have to drive home.  Just stay here, we have pleanty of room for tents and camping!

We’ll have a few hours of partying and eating and then at about 6:30’ish we’ll mosey on up to the front where Aaron and I will be getting Hitched (at the Hitchin’ post) at 7pm.  Then we’ll do a few typical “wedding” things like our first dance as a couple, the dollar dance, the tossing of the boquet, and a few other things.  Then there will be a Fireworks show after 9pm that you’re sure to talk about for years.

If you have any questions or comments just give us a buzz or shoot me an email.

I will be updating this site and this posting if I think of anything else pertinant so bookmark this page and check back occassionally!!

Aaron and I are so excited about this day and hope to see everyone there!  It’s been a long time in the making and we want to share it with all our friends and family!
