It’s that time of the year again, but this year was a little different having a new baby in the house! We started off Christmas Eve with the tradition of opening some new PJs! Jaron got some sleep pants (he’s too big for kids PJs anymore!) and Jaylen got a little snowman sleeper.

She was sitting like this for a couple minutes so I grabbed my phone and snapped this pic. She sat there for a while so I’m counting it as a “first” – first time sitting up by herself!

This is her new favorite way to lay. Now that she can roll over no matter how you lay her down she twists over like this.

Jaylen had her test today and it came back as positive for reflux. She screamed the whole time and refused the barium. But she got enough in her to reflux on screen. Now I have concrete evidence that she’s in pain and I’m not just the mom of a ‘colicky’ baby. Here’s to better days ahead.

That brother o’ hers must be some kind of funny guy because Jaylen officially laughed tonight. She’s been dong this little smile-jerk-back-sqwak thing for a while but not the full out giggle laugh that we heard tonight when she was sitting in the saucer watching Brother playing with his Legos. It was music to my ears! Unfortunately I couldn’t get her to laugh again for the camera so below is a video where you can hear her sqwakings from the other day.
